Privacy policy
Plain and simple. Here is exactly what we collect when you reach out, what we do with it, and what we never do with it. Last updated July 2026.
What we collect
The only information we collect is what you hand us on purpose. When you fill out the quote form on this site, that means your name, your email address, your phone number if you add it, the project type you pick, and whatever details you type into the message about your project. That is it. We are not running any hidden data collection.
Photos you send us
Some of our tools let you upload a photo of a job so we can size it up and put together an estimate. When you send a photo through any form or tool on this site, it is read by an AI service to help draft that estimate, and then it is used only to respond to you and quote the work. We do not sell your photos, we do not use them for advertising, and we do not hand them to anyone outside of getting you an answer.
How we use it
We use your information for one thing: to get back to you about your request. Duncan reads what you sent and follows up by phone, text, or email to talk through the job, give you a bid, or line up service. We do not use your information for anything else.
What we never do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it off to marketers. Your details stay between you and R&D Plumbing, and we only keep them as long as we need them to serve you and keep our own records straight.
The tools we use
To actually deliver a quote request to us, the form uses a service called Resend, which passes your message along as an email. Resend handles it only to send that message and does not use it for anything of their own.
When you upload a photo for an estimate, we use an AI service from Anthropic to read the photo and draft a rough estimate. That service processes the photo to answer your request and nothing more.
If we have website analytics turned on, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to see basic, anonymous traffic patterns, like how many people visit and which pages they land on. That data is not tied to your name and is not used to identify you personally. If analytics is not enabled, none of that runs at all.
